Mathias Steiner lifting 230kg
An important note we find in Mathias’ performance of the lifts is that he is one of the few lifters in the world— especially the heavyweight lifters—who did not use a belt or wrist or knee straps to assist him in performing the lifts, in order to gain the element of strength in the muscles of the body in general through this training concept found in the book.

Success Story:
Creating Champions

How to create champions and gradually bring juniors to the world and Olympic level without injury during the long-term training years. I went through this entire experience over 5 years of continuous work with Steiner Mathias, who was a model of a committed weightlifter with a strong will and a goal he wanted to achieve.

I started working with him in early June 2000 and finished working with him in April 2005. Together, we started with 127.5kg snatch and 155kg clean and jerk after a local league championship in Austria in the 94 kg weight category. We reached 185kg snatch and 230kg clean and jerk lifts in the 105 kg weight category.

He was able to gradually increase his level and continuously develop through his training style. This is a model that utilized all the training ideas and training programs that I developed and developed through field work in training, and each stage was developed and updated based on the results achieved progressively.

This training method has been used to develop many of the weightlifters I have worked with in Europe, Asia, and Africa. Therefore, the idea of publishing this book came to explain and prove modern training ideas that are compatible with the modern era and the development of many things around us, especially the sport of weightlifting.
